If you would like your students to publish their work to blogs, websites, or virtual learning environments, you’re going to love this new feature – scrapbook embedding.

An embedded scrapbook is a fully-featured mini version of a scrapbook. It looks just as good as it does on Beeclip EDU, and when clicked it will open into a beautiful full-screen viewer. You can control whether students are allowed to embed scrapbooks, when enabled they can be embedded into any website.

The cherry on the cake is that when you make changes to a scrapbook on Beeclip EDU, these changes will instantly appear in the embedded scrapbook. Pretty whizz-bang technology, I’m sure you’ll agree.

Hot on the heels of our last release we’re happy to announce the arrival of the brand new Beeclip EDU Beeclipper.

The Beeclipper makes it beautifully easy to clip images from around the web as you surf. Perfect for researching projects, gathering inspiration, or collecting ideas.

Here’s how it works:

• Add the Beeclipper bookmarklet to your browser (it takes less than 10 seconds).
• When you find an image on the web you’d like to use, open the Beeclipper, and simply click the image to save it to your clips.
• Head over to any of your scrapbooks and you’ll see the clipped image in the Your Clips section of the dock.

The quickest way to make your Beeclip scrapbook look fantastic is by adding cool backgrounds, borders, and stickers.

So, to help you and your students create even better digital scrapbooks, we’re introducing something called Kits.  Kits are themed collections of backgrounds, borders, and stickers created by Beeclip for you to use on your scrapbooks.

To kick things off, our design team has created 5 incredible kits.  They are Collage, Scrapbook, Moodboard, Portfolio, and Photo Album.

You can use the kits in any way you like. You can use them as their name implies e.g. use the Photo Album kit to create a photo album, or, as I like to do, you can mix and match to find the perfect combo.

You’ll find all the new kits in the Extras tab of your scrapbook.

These 5 kits are only the beginning and we’ll be adding more all the time. So, if there are any specific kits you’d like to see, please get in touch and let us know.
